
Tomato, strawberry & basil bruschetta
An ideal and quick recipe to impress your guests Give your tomato bruschetta a tasty twist with our strawberry basil jelly.

Ingredients
1 jar of jelly fraise basilic de la Confiturerie Tigidou
For the bruschetta:
– 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
– 1 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
– 2-4 c. tablespoon French shallot, finely chopped
– 6 c. tablespoons fresh herbs of your choice (mint, dill, parsley), chopped
– 2 c. tablespoon white balsamic vinegar
– 1 c. teaspoon sambal oelek
– The zest of a lime
– 1 c. tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
For the croutons :
– 1 baguette of bread
– 1 c. tablespoon of olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, pressed or finely chopped
Method
1- In a medium bowl, combine the ingredients for the bruschetta. Set aside
2- Preheat oven to 400°F, rack in center. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3- Cut the baguette into 1 cm thick croutons and place them on the baking sheet. Set aside
4- In a small frying pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, then brown the garlic for 1-2 minutes, stirring. Use this mixture to brush the croutons, season with salt and pepper to taste, and bake for 8-10 minutes. Set aside
5- Just before serving, garnish the croutons with strawberry basil jelly and bruschetta. Enjoy!
